Mi Pen: Unboxing and Full Review

I thought I’d never do this. Ah! What the hell. Just do it. xD

Hey guys. Today I have THE MOST interesting product in the house. One that catches your attention in a lot of ways. We all know that to write something on a notepad or a sheet of paper, you need a pen. We have a few types of pen in the market from really great brands that been established for centuries. There’s ball point, gel based and even ink based.

Today we are going to take a look at this pen from a company that’s so popular that they are making a lot of stuff, out of the box. This is the Unboxing and the full review of the Mi Pen. This is probably the only review you'll see on the internet. Let's just say that I'm giving you folks the exclusive content. :P

Note: This is just for the sake of giving you guys some funny content once in a while that’s all.

Unboxing:

As we take a look at the box, on the front we have the picture of the product. And on the sides, we don’t have anything fancy but it has this clean finish. On the back of the box, we have the specification of this particular product like what’s packed under the hood and all. We have the serial number to know that you are having a genuine product.

On the top and bottom, we have the Mi logo along with the Mijia (Mi Home Ecosystem) logo.

As soon as you open the box, you’ll see the device is covered in a plastic sheet so that your device won’t get any kind of damage.

Removing the device from the thin paper card and the plastic on the product, we see the Mi Pen all in it’s glory. On the pen, it features an one of a kind clip with the Mijia logo on it. The body is covered in this matte white finish that does not only look great but feels great too.

Let’s move on with the rest.

Build Quality:

Mi pen is built strong. It has that weight to it. When you hold the pen in your hands, it feels premium to the touch. That smooth finish let’s you hold the pen with a grip. It doesn’t slide off that easily, which is a good thing. To write, you’ll have to twist the top part and the tip will come out.

Other than that, what can I say. It’s impressive.

Ink Quality:

The moment you start writing with this pen, that’s when you realize you are using a pen. Not any kind of pen, but just a pen. I’ll just leave it right there.

That .5mm tip writes smooth and the black ink on the pen is just nice. The black color is produced nicely and it has that dark contrast that lets you read under any light but not in a dark room.

Not sure it’s refillable or not, but I’ll be breaking down this pen to give you a score whether it’s user replaceable or not.

Day to day Performance:

The performance is nice. There’s no lag or any stutters when you write on a paper. You can write with it on and on. I used this pen when I was having my examination and my handwriting looks legible. Other scenarios include when scribbling on a roughpad or something just for the sake of it,  signing papers and many more.

Backwards Compatibility:

Don’t worry. This pen is compatible with most of the paper quality out there.

Conclusion:

I have no words to say because this pen functions exactly like a pen and nothing more. With that nice matte finish and a clip that’s so durable, this pen is definitely a bang for the buck. It only comes in white color. I hope it comes in a black color too. Good job Mi, you have done it again.

As always thank you so much for reading this full review on a device that's so cool that you’ll have to go all the way to china to get one. And follow me on my social network for more content and legit tech unboxing and reviews or even press release of other product.
