Can technology help make people better? Peak Smart Lamp Does!
I have asked myself the very same question, “Can technology help make people better?”. As a huge Technophile myself, these kinds of question just strikes in my head… I wondered
How many of you gone to the internet, find tutorials on how to improve your habits and change your routine to achieve a great state of mind? Honestly, I did. Most of you might be shy to admit it but good thing is that you know that you have to improve… Some tutorials you find online and all, ends up being ineffective and you kinda give up on it cuz’ its not interesting anymore.
Few days back, a friend of mine who’s one of the co-founder started his Kickstarter on his new project called Peak Smart Lamp. “Peak is a smart lamp that combines light, encouraging messages and a personal improvement algorithm that helps you to form better habits.”
I found it really interesting as there’s not even a single product out there which encourages you to do your task, to make you into a better person. You might be wondering, “How could we use Peak?”. It helps in forming a lot of great habits that could reshape your everyday lives such as, Meditation, reading, spending time with family and friends… Many more!
Here’s what it does,
“First, it gives good habits a physical play in your environment: a glowing lamp that gently attracts attention. Second, Peak interacts with you using brief and encouraging messages that rapidly build motivation. Third, Peak deliberately takes your goals and turns it into small daily steps that won’t be overcome by natural resistance.”
It has some neat trick up it’s sleeves. The way you pair it with your smartphone and the interaction between the device and you… It’s marvelous.
A normal table lamp from target, costs around $117 dollars and does nothing to be honest. But peak is not just your average lamp. It does not only light up your room, but also your heart and soul. :)
If you guys are really… I mean REALLY interested in supporting a project that brings the change that we all want in our life… Peak is the way to go! But you have to be quick!
